Can I Use This Address for Google My Business or Google AdSense?
📍 Google Guidelines for Virtual Addresses
Unfortunately, Google does not allow virtual mailing addresses to be used for creating Google My Business (now called Google Business Profile) or Google AdSense accounts.
Google Business Profile Restrictions
According to Google’s official guidelines, a business profile is only allowed if:
- Your business has a physical location where customers can visit, or
- Your business provides services by traveling to customers at their location
Because PostScan Mail addresses are mailing-only addresses and not public storefronts or staffed customer-facing locations, they do not qualify for Google Business Profile listings.
What You Can Do Instead
If your business operates by visiting customers at their location, such as mobile services, consulting, or deliveries, you may be eligible to create a Service Area Business (SAB) profile.
With a Service Area Business:
- You do not list a physical address
- You specify the geographic areas you serve
📌 Google Guidance:
“If you don’t serve customers at your business address, do not enter an address under the ‘Info’ tab in Business Profile Manager. Leave the business location field blank.”
