Can I use this address for Google AdSense or Google MyBusiness?
Google MyBusiness and AdSense Guidelines for Virtual Addresses
Unfortunately, Google does not accept virtual addresses for creating Google MyBusiness or Google AdSense profiles.
Google MyBusiness Guidelines:
According to Google's official guidelines, you can only create a Google Business Profile if:
- Your business has a physical location where customers can visit, OR
- Your business offers services by traveling to customers at their location.
Since our addresses are for mailing purposes only and not actual storefronts or locations where customers can visit, they do not meet Google’s requirements for setting up a Business Profile.
What You Can Do Instead:
If your business involves traveling to your customers (like home services or deliveries), you can still create a Google MyBusiness Profile by using the service area option. This allows you to list your business without needing to provide a physical storefront address.
However, please note:
- You cannot use our subscribed mailing addresses for this purpose.
As Google states:
"Important: If you don't serve customers at your business address, do not enter an address under the 'Info' tab in Business Profile Manager. Leave the 'business location' field blank."
For more information on how to set up a profile using the service area option, refer to this article by Google.
