📦 How Does Mail Storage Work?

PostScan Mail offers a convenient storage system for your incoming mail and packages. Each item is eligible for a free storage period beginning the day it is uploaded to your virtual mailbox.

⏳ Free Storage Periods

• Envelopes, postcards, and magazines: 30 days free
• Packages: 7 days free

The storage clock starts from the upload date to your mailbox, not the day it was delivered to the facility.

💵 Storage Fees After Free Period

Once the free storage period ends, fees begin to apply:

• $0.05 per mail item, per day (envelopes, postcards, or magazines)
• $0.10 per pound, per day (packages)

These charges will continue to accrue until the item is:

• Picked up in person (where available), or
• Shipped, recycled, or shredded through your PostScan Mail account
