What requests can I do with my mail?


Open & Scan

Open & Scan is a request in which the mail is opened and scanned. This lets you know the contents of the mail item. This is typically done with a document scanner so that the images are a clear and printable quality.

Recycle

No Charge

A Recycle request is when you want to discard any mail items. This is typically done when the mail item does not contain sensitive information.

Shred

$1 per item for the first 10 pages, then $0.15 cents per additional page.

A Shred request is when you want to discard their mail but also dispose or destroy its packaging and contents. This is typically requested when the mail item contains personal or sensitive information.

Shipment

A Shipment request is when you request the delivery scanned and uploaded mail items to a specified address. You prove provide the complete destination address and select the preferred shipping method to ensure proper delivery.

Rescan

A Rescan request is when you are requesting to rescan and upload the images for a mail item. Some reasons for this could be the following.

Pickup

There are two types of Pickup requests. The first is when you set a date and appointment time to go pickup your mail at your registered address. The second is when you are claiming that they have already received certain mail items.

Consolidation

A consolidation request is a process in which multiple individual mail items or packages are combined into a single shipment. This approach is often used to streamline the shipping process, reduce handling time, and lower overall shipping costs by minimizing the number of separate deliveries.

Return to Mailroom

A return request is when you are returning a mail item to the mail room. One example of why you might use this request is to correct any mistakes that an operator may have made, such as the wrong mail type or if it was assigned to you by mistake and it is not your mail item.
